When the rodent enters the trap, sensors are activated that trigger the piston, which kills the rodent instantly and humanely using compressed air. Each Co2 cartridge contains enough compressed air to strike and kill 80 rodents.

Choose the right AuroTrap

Currently there are two models of the AuroTrap, each with their own design and application. One collects the rodent carcasses, while the other ejects them for the wildlife predators to do the collecting.

AuroTrap Collect is suited for inside locations, locations with public access, high-risk facilities, and production facilities.

The Nature model is suited for outside areas where the wildlife can collect the rodent carcasses outside the trap, like farms, orchards, around warehouses and other facilities where the public is not present.

Each individual trap can be set from the app and backend to operate only during certain hours of the day. This enables you to have traps only being activated to kill during nighttime at a school or other high-risk facilities.

How the Auro trap nature version works:

Rodents are attracted

Rodents are lured to the trap by a non-toxic lure, and the specifically designed entrance, which attracts both rats and mice.

Humane killing

The sensors in the trap detect when a rat or mouse enters the trap and kills the rodent using a pneumatic piston, instantly, safely and humanely.

Data collection

The trap sends data to the online platform showing control and status of battery, Co2 levels, signal strength, temperature, and number of rodents killed.

Trap preparation

The trap automatically prepares for the next killing. Each CO₂ cartridge contains enough compressed air to kill approx. 80 rodents.

Collection by predators

All the kills made by the AuroTrap are mechanical, and without use of toxic rodenticides, there is no secondary poisoning of other animals. The killed rodents simply slide out of the trap and nature with its scavengers take cares of them.
