At Aurocon we want to build the world’s best rodent trap.
Aurocon exists to build the future of pest control - intelligent, connected, and free of rodenticides. In fact, we are already building the world's best rodent trap and the software system around it, and to bring a level of technology to this industry that it has never seen before.
We don't think of ourselves as a pest control company. While the Aurotrap is built by pest controllers for pest controllers, we think of ourselves as engineers, builders, and problem-solvers who chose pest control as the problem worth solving.
Our story
Our journey started in 2018, when a pest controller in Northern Denmark had an idea. He wanted to solve the issues with growing use of rodenticides. Many alternatives were ineffective. The solution he came up with was the first Aurotrap model.
As more people came aboard, our goal to make rodent control easier and more efficient for pest control operators progressed. At the same time, we proved that non-toxic rodent control could be highly effective.
A few years later, the Aurotrap Manager and Aurotrap Mobile were launched and along with technical upgrades to the trap itself. Our product went from being highly mechanically effective to being a product that can disrupt the industry.
From there, Aurocon expanded even more. Our traps are operating in 26 countries on 5 continents, we have a global patent and global impact in the rodent control industry. Our goal is to continue our way of introducing new, smarter solutions for pest controllers around the world.
The name
Aurocon, initially spelled AuRoCon, is an abbreviation for Automatic Rodent Control.
What drives us
We built Aurocon on a simple conviction: pest control deserves better tools than the ones it has relied on for decades. That conviction shows up in how we work.
We stay ahead. We think forward, anticipate challenges, and see opportunities before they arise. Our traps are technologically market-leading, and we will continue to be ambitious and improve on our products to ultimately make life easier for pest controllers around the world.
We do things properly. Quality the first time, and every time. If we miss the mark, we will do our best to correct our course. We hold ourselves to a standard higher than the industry expects – because the operators who rely on our technology can’t afford anything less.
What we're building toward
The pest control industry is at the start of a fundamental shift – from scheduled inspection to real-time data, from rodenticides to precision, from reactive service to prevention. Aurocon was built for that shift, and we intend to lead it. Our ambition is global.
